Carmody Park
Lower Twin Creek Nature Preserve
Experience one of the region's most pristine waterways.
Carmody Park / Lower Twin Creek Nature Preserve is located along the lower reaches of Twin Creek, one of the most beautiful streams in Southwest Ohio.
The area closest to Martz-Paulin Road features active recreation, with eight rectangular fields, three ball diamonds, a shelter, and a playground. Closer to Twin Creek is a wooded nature preserve with hiking trails and access to the stream.
The park is preserved in part through a partnership with Five Rivers MetroParks, who holds a conservation easement on the property. Twin Creek MetroPark is located just upstream, and the two parks are the result of an ongoing coordinated effort to preserve this pristine river corridor.
