Landen Deerfield Park
From quiet natural spaces to busy ballfields, everyone will find something to love!
Landen Deerfield Park is a community hub in the heart of the Landen-Maineville area. The park offers 95 acres and includes both active sports and nature-based recreation opportunities.
The park's northern side is a quiet oasis with Simpson Creek, a tributary of the Little Miami, as its main feature, and a network of multi-use mountain bike / hiking trails.
The southern part of the park, closer to Route 22 & 3, features more active offerings like athletic fields (rectangular fields and ball diamonds), tennis/pickleball, basketball courts, playground, water play sprayground, and shelters.
Simpson Creek - A Hidden Gem
Tucked away in the northern half of Landen-Deerfield Park is Simpson Creek. The valley provides an opportunity to escape to a peaceful, wooded oasis in the heart of bustling suburban Deerfield Township. It is a place where you can pause to hear the stream babbling and the birds chirping.
The park's natural area features about two miles of multi-use mountain bike / hiking trails, maintained by the Cincinnati Off-Road Alliance (CORA). Since these trails are open to all types of non-motorized use, we advise all users to be cautious and courteous and to "share the trail."
