Introduction to Bluebird Monitoring

If you’re curious about bird nest boxes and how to monitor them, join us to learn about the birds who may use them, and how to set them up for a successful nesting season. All are welcome, no previous birding or bird monitoring experience required!

 As part of the program we will head out to the bluebird nest boxes in the park and check them for activity together. Participants will have the opportunity to become a Warren County Park District volunteer and sign up to help monitor bluebird nest boxes at one of our park locations with nest boxes: Armco Park, Gulley Park, Hisey Park, Keever Trails, or Landen-Deerfield Park. Volunteering is totally optional, though we are excited to be offering this new volunteer opportunity.
