Bench Donations
Honor a loved one by donating a new park bench in one of our beautiful park locations.
This sturdy six-foot bench features a black frame with cedar-color recycled plastic planks.
A personalized cast metal plaque measuring 2.5"x11.75" and installation are included with your donation of $1,850.

Can I select the bench location?
Park District staff will work closely with the donor to find a location that works for both the donor and the Park District.
How long is the donation good for?
The Park District will maintain the donated bench for its useful life, which is usually many years due to its sturdy construction. Â At the end of the bench's useful life, the Park District will endeavor to contact the donor to give them the opportunity to sponsor a replacement bench if desired. Â If the donor chooses not to sponsor a new bench, the plaque will be returned to the donor if possible.
